Raising Champions for Christ
Jesus Family Academy is a new educational wing of Jesus Family Ministry. The school opened its doors in the fall of 2022 for pre-kindergarten to 8th-grade students. The primary curriculum used at the academy is the Abeka curriculum.

About Abeka
Jesus Family Academy uses Abeka, a well-respected curriculum that has been used for over 40 years by thousands of Christian schools across America and internationally. Over 1 million students worldwide use the Abeka curriculum. The curriculum is academically rigorous and prepares students for college, emphasizing strong Christian values, character development, self-discipline, and good study habits. As a result, students using the Abeka curriculum consistently achieved superior academic results.

Jesus Family Academy
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive Christian education to all students. We firmly believe every child is a child of God and needs intellectual and spiritual nurturing. Therefore, we aim to make Christian education accessible without discrimination to all who desire it. Our teachers and staff team, guided by our faith in a faithful God, strive to raise a generation of authentic, well-rounded Christians who strongly advocate for Christ. We are honored to do this with the grace of God.
Our humble beginning
Pastor Michael Oswin and his wife, Sheeba Oswin, are full-time missionaries to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and founded “Jesus Family Ministry.” Our main church is in Jersey City, NJ, and we have branch churches in many parts of the United States. Pastor Oswin has a heart of compassion to reach the unreached with Christ’s gospel and help the needy. They have established Churches/schools in India, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Dominican Republic, East Africa, Australia, and Malaysia. Many widows, orphans, and needy people are helped through this ministry.
Pastor Michael and Mrs. Sheeba Oswin are blessed with three beautiful daughters. Mrs. Sheeba Oswin had a great burden and vision for Christian education. She started homeschooling her daughters with a Christian curriculum and volunteered at a local Christian school in Jersey City for almost seven years. In 2022, God miraculously opened the door to start a Christian school in our Church. God put the same burden and vision in the hearts of some sisters in our Christ and united us to pray and form Jesus Family Academy. What a great God we serve! Our Lord Jesus Christ constantly leads us in this beautiful ministry of training these young minds and raising them as Champions for Christ. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Physical activity is essential for a student’s overall well-being, and our school offers gym time and outdoor play time to promote health and fitness.
